What is a taxi lap?
A taxi lap is when you ride along as a passenger while one of our expert drivers takes you around the track. This is perhaps one of the best ways to see the circuit: you get the full experience of the intimidating Nürburgring Nordschleife without the burden — and the risk — of having to drive it yourself. Taxi lap package
Experience the best parts of the Nürburgring in one day. The Taxi Lap package combines a guided road tour around the local area (where you drive the sports car of your choice), lunch, a visit to the Nürburgring Museum and shopping boulevard, and finally the main event: a high adrenaline taxi lap around the Nordschleife itself, piloted by an expert driver.

- Possible on weekdays (Monday–Friday) / excludes full day public sessions in main season.

Taxi lap during a race practice session
The ultimate version: a lap in a full race car on a closed circuit during a race practice session. No traffic, no speed limits in the Döttinger Höhe section, and a driver who races here for a living.
- A taxi lap during a race practice session on a closed circuit — no other traffic rules apply.
- Only possible on selected race weekends during the season.
- Full race car with a professional driver at race pace.
- One passenger per lap, race overalls and helmet provided.
- Minimum age 18. Subject to availability and weather.
