The obsession of every driver in the world, from amateurs to world champions, is to go faster — finding those last few tenths. Many thousands of euros are regularly spent on upgraded brakes, tyres, suspension and electronics to achieve that. At RSR we believe the area which brings the greatest gain is often overlooked: the driver.

RSRNurburg’s Driving Academy programs are renowned to be among the best in the world, thanks to the extensive experience of our team of instructors, built on over 20 years of racing. To drive a car close to the limit you cannot rely on instinct and raw speed alone — knowledge and technical understanding are paramount.

Each program is completely customised and 100% focused on you and your current skill level. Designed in a dynamic, flexible way, you focus on the areas where you gain the most — speeding up your learning and maximising results. We cater to novices and pro racers alike, from the correct line to advanced balancing techniques.

Academy courses at a glance

  • Driving Academy programs run only during exclusive private trackdays, not during tourist drives (Touristenfahrten).
  • One-on-one, personalised training.

Level 1

Nürburgring ‘Skill’ program

If you want to get more out of the Nordschleife this is the perfect way to get started. A full day program with everything you need to get to know the Nürburgring, properly.

Program includes

  • Specific Nordschleife circuit training with one-on-one personal coaching
  • 1 day program, available on selected trackdays during the year
  • Using your own car or a hire car from RSRNurburg
  • 1 driver included
  • 10 laps of the circuit with an instructor next to you
  • Trackday entry fee (a surcharge may apply for high/external event entry fees)
  • Theory program
  • VBox HD Lite lap data analysis with video on SD card
  • Lunch
  • Certificate of completion from the RSR Driving Academy

  • From €2,299 with your own car, from €3,499 with a rental car from RSRNurburg
  • Second driver: €299 (2 drivers max)
  • Guided track tour and simulator work on the day prior: €599

Level 2

Nürburgring ‘Speed’ program

For people who want to make good into perfect: an intensive 2 day program covering all the skills, theory and practical work you need to become adept at driving the Nordschleife.

Program includes

  • Specific Nordschleife circuit training with one-on-one personal coaching
  • 2 day program — day 1: theory, car set up, karting and track tour; day 2: track driving
  • Two days of track driving possible at additional cost
  • Using your own car or a hire car from RSRNurburg
  • 1 driver included
  • 16 laps of the circuit with an instructor next to you
  • Trackday entry fee (surcharge may apply for external events)
  • Theory program including race seating setup and driver positioning
  • Guided track tour with in-depth corner analysis
  • Karting session at the Nürburgring and simulator work
  • VBox HD Lite lap data analysis with video on SD card
  • Lunch on both days and a certificate of completion

Nürburgring ‘Race’ program

If you want to race at the Nürburgring, this is the way to do it. We teach you everything you need and assist in getting your race licence so you can enter your first race at the Nürburgring.

Program includes

  • Built 100% around you, your schedule and your driving experience level
  • Spread over different days so you have everything you need to go racing
  • Car control courses
  • Trackdays with full time instruction
  • Car rentals as necessary
  • Race licensing and licence courses where needed
  • Race car hire, including entry to a Nürburgring race
